Weeks #6 - Whalers earn 3 of 4 points

After a layoff in Week #5 due to the Atlantic Challenge Cup the MHA Whalers were back in action on Week #6. 

Saturday the MHA Whalers hosted the Scotsburn Crushers.  It was a tight game, tied at 0-0 heading into the 3rd period. Ozzie King opened the scoring, and picked up two goals in the third, along with Ben MacQueen and Tyler Evans each picking up singles, to lead the MHA Whalers to a 4-0 victory over the Crushers.  Jacob Gibbons-Cook earned his second shutout of the season.

Sunday the MHA Whalers traved across the harbour to vsist the Accel Hawks.  Again, a tight game was the order of the day. After going down 1-0, Luke Henman tied things up at 1-1 on the power play  in the 3rd.  The game would end in a 1-1 tie.

Week #7 will see the MHA Whalers travelling to Cole Habrour on Saturday and then to Truro on Sunday.
