The Dartmouth Whalers are off to their fastest pace in their four year history in the NSMBHL due in part to a combination of good team effort and some great work by Cole McLaren between the pipes.
McLAREN BACK STOPS WHALERS TO STRONG START IN NSMBHL

Cole McLaren comes to the Dartmouth Whalers via the Western Valley Pee Wee AAA Spartans. Cole lives in Annapolis Royal and the first year bantam, travels into Dartmouth to backstop the Whaler's net. Due to injuries, Cole has played in all four of the Whalers' games while posting a 2.25 GAA. This past weekend, Cole faced thirty shots on Saturday against the Pro Hockey Life Harbour Storm as his team won 5-3; and on Sunday, Cole followed that up with a twenty-four save performance picking up his first shut out and leading his team against the Scotsburn Crushers.
