Whalers in 2015 Irving Oil Challenge Cup championship game

On Sunday April 12th the Dartmouth Sportsplex will host what promises to be a fantastic final of the 2015 Irving Oil Challenge Cup.

After going 4-0 in the round robin portion of the tournament, the Whalers earned the home ice for the gold medal final, and by virture of their 3-1 record in round robin play, the Novas earned their spot in the final as well.

This is a rematch of the NSMBHL Provincial championship final, and in that round the Novas won the contest with a score of 2-1 with 1:21 remaining in the second overtime period.

The Whalers are thrilled to have a rematch with the Novas on home ice at the Dartmouth Sportsplex.

Game time is 12:00 noon and tickets are $5.00; 14 and under are free, so come on out and support your Whalers and enjoy some great hockey today!
